ISLAMABAD: A high-level meeting – chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif – on Friday discussed matters pertaining to the upcoming session of the United Nation’s General Assembly.
The prime minister said that in his address to the UN, he plans to highlight the issue of Kashmir dispute and recent brutalities of Indian troops in the held valley. During the meeting, Nawaz was also briefed about the national security matters.
Foreign Affairs Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, National Security Adviser Nasir Janjua and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry also attended the meeting.
