Lahore: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has renamed Service Road D-12 as Aitzaz Hassan Shaheed Road.
Aitzaz Hassan Bangash was a school boy who gave his life while preventing a suicide bomber from entering his school in a village of Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on January 6, 2014.
The CDA had approved the proposal of renaming the road last year to pay tribute to the brave hero of the nation.
The CDA had also approved renaming Service Road (East) F-11 as Agha Nasir Road, Service Road (West) F-8 as Safwat Ghayoor Shaheed Road and Double Road in front of Police Line, H-11 as Captain Mobeen Shaheed Road.
