LAHORE: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday shot dead a Pakistani national, who mistakenly crossed the border.
A shepherd from Bhaki Pind area of Kasoor, Mohammad Iqbal, was shot by Indian Border Forces, while he was trying to bring his buffalo back, after it crossed into the Indian Territory.
Indian forces, without investigating the reason behind the intrusion, killed Iqbal and took his dead body with them. Ganda Singh police station stated that they kept waiving a white flag that indicates a meeting but the Indian side did not respond.
Almost 48 hours ago, Indian Border Security Forces and Pakistani Rangers decided that individuals crossing the border by mistake shall be allowed to return after they are thoroughly investigated.
