KARACHI – Former member of Muttahia Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Rabita Committee Waseem Aftab and sitting MPA from PS-106 Iftikhar Ahmed on Thursday announced to join Mustafa Kamal’s newly-formed political party.
“Today we welcome former Rabita Committee member and Karachi Tanzeemi Committee in-charge Waseem Aftab and MPA Iftikhar Ahmed in our party as they have decided to join our cause,” former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal told journalists during a press conference at his residence.
The decision came days after former Sindh health minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed while ending his 28-year-long association with the MQM, announced his decision to support Kamal’s party.
