FAISALABAD – At least 16 people killed and others 20 injured in a roadside accident in Faisalabad in Wednesday morning, local TV channel reported.
The bus was on its way to Layyah from Faisalabad when it collided with a tractor trolley at the Jhang Road in Thaikrywala area, leaving 16 passengers dead and 20 others injured. The Rescue and police teams arrived on the spot.
Rescue sources said the accident took place owing to uncontrollable speed of the passenger bus. The injured have been shifted to Allied Hospital. The bus driver fled from the accident site.
